Hi there! Welcome to my online home. I'm so excited that you have decided to stop by. I hope I have the chance to get to know you and become friends, but I think it's only fair that I tell you a bit about myself beforehand. So grab a drink, make yourself at home, and stay a while.

My name is Makenzie Reese. I used to go by Makenzie Seale until I realized that the last person on the planet I thought I would marry was the man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life and build a legacy with. So, before you get to know me more, you have to know a bit about my husband. Meet Tyler.  The nerdiest, smartest, most confident, humble and dedicated person that I know. Both him and I have been working at Chick-fil-A for over 7 years now and we hope to open up our own restaurant one day! Speaking of Chick-fil-A, it's actually ironic because I am unable to eat there. I know what you're thinking. Why would I want to help my husband open up a restaurant then? Chick-fil-A has impacted our lives, and have seen it impact the lives in our city so well. We love being apart of the vision that it holds. Anyway, I have a little condition where my digestive system has a mind of it's own and doesn't like me very much, so I eat very specifically. I have developed a passion for clean eating. Specifically sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are a quick way to my heart.

I grew up camping, so I was the girl who you could always find either barefoot or collecting rocks. The wilderness and the mountains have always had a special place in my heart. If I could live anywhere it would be in a wood cabin in the wilderness along a river. I also grew up with a creative spirit. When I was in first grade, I struggled with science and math daily, but as long as I was proud of the piece of art I created on the wall alongside the other kid's art, I was a happy camper. Literally. Some things that are very valuable to me are my Heavenly Father, the health of my marriage, the hearts of my family and friends, and the posture of knowing that I always need to grow and have something to learn. Because marriage is something that I value, I began to use my creativity and love for photography to capture weddings and relationships. Just like Tyler and I have our own set of failures and our own set of victories, I know that you also have a set of your own.

Photography to me isn't about creating beauty, it's about seeing those failures and victories, capturing them, and revealing the beauty that already is.  So that ten years from now, you can look back and remember the significant moments, the powerful emotions, and the condition of your heart when it all began. So now that you know a bit about me, I want the opportunity to get to know you. So, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm eager to hear from you. Plus, I think this already is the beginning to a great friendships and I believe we can do big things together! Click "our life" if you want to get a further glimpse into Tyler and my life.
